We, the children of primary 7/6 at Taynuilt Primary School in Scotland, wanted to communicate a message.
My design shows two shells all around microplastics and microfibres. At the sides there are fish and seaweed around plastic.I used mono printing for the shells and cut out the fish then coloured them with crayon. For the microplastics I got a net and mixed different colours so they would stand out and cut it in to small pieces and stuck it all down.
I think the future will be a little bit worse because some or most people are not helping or understanding what is happening in the world. - Isobel, P6, Taynuilt Primary

This design was created during an art and science workshop as part of the ‘Our Plastic Oceans’ project run by Crùbag, in collaboration with Taynuilt Primary School, Renuka Ramanujam, & the Scottish Association of Marine Science (SAMS).
These sustainable, colourful and ocean-inspired notebooks are designed by children because they care and want to do more, they are such an inspiration! Each notebook is a bundle of joy and a conversation starter.
