We, the children of primary 7/6 at Taynuilt Primary School in Scotland, wanted to communicate a message.
My design shows that animals in the water are really happy and I think our future will have less plastic. My picture shows a turtle, shark and fish living a happy, longer life with no plastic surrounding them.
I made my picture by taking a piece of bumpy seaweed and painting on the bumps which I then printed on to a piece of paper to make the stones. For the picture I used collaging to add the animals. - Isla, P7, Kilchrenan Primary

This design was created during an art and science workshop as part of the ‘Our Plastic Oceans’ project run by Crùbag, in collaboration with Taynuilt Primary School, Renuka Ramanujam, & the Scottish Association of Marine Science (SAMS).
These sustainable, colourful and ocean-inspired notebooks are designed by children because they care and want to do more, they are such an inspiration! Each notebook is a bundle of joy and a conversation starter.
