“We, the children of primary 6/7 at Taynuilt Primary School in Scotland, wanted to communicate a message about what people are doing to the environment in relation to plastic pollution in our oceans.”
Our Plastic Oceans Notebook Collection is a collective effort of art, science education, and action that aims to bring awareness to the imminent issue of microplastic pollution. The pupils of primary 6 and 7 of Taynuilt Primary, joined by pupils from primary 6 and 7 from Kilchrenan Primary, collaborated with Crùbag and scientists at the Scottish Association for Marine Science.
This is a sustainable collection of fabric-covered notebooks inspired by microplastic pollution. All designs were created by the children. Each notebook is hand-made with high quality paper and covered with the pupil's designs printed on organic cotton - a natural fabric. We donate £5.00 from the purchase of each notebook to Taynuilt Primary School to support their science curriculum.
